12th Istanbul International Meeting of Cinema and History will be in Beyoğlu Alkazar and French Cultural Center on December 12 and 17, 2009.
In this meeting the theme will be “European Cultures Meeting in Istanbul”. During the opening night, part of the documentary titled “İdil Biret: Miracle Fingers on Piano” which tells the story of worldwide renowned Biret will be screening for the audiences.
Teh films will be under five categories;
- European Cultures Meeting
- New Discoveries
- From the World Festivals
- Human Rights
- The Evidence of Cinema: Viewing Polish Movie
Ticket price is 5 TL and for students is 4 TL. Please note the showings at French Cultural center are free.
