Part of the Istanbul 2010 European Capital of Culture events there will be literature festival in İstanbul for one-week .
The “1st Istanbul Literature Festival – Literature Season” will bring together more than 50 poets and writers with readers from Dec. 7 to 13. The festival, which is jointly organized by the Istanbul 2010 European Capital of Culture Agency and the Istanbul branch of the Turkish Writers’ Union, or TYB, was launched Monday at a press conference at The Golden Horn Hotel.
