Working on sail training, history and environment issues since 1956 Sail Training International will be holding its annual meeting in Istanbul on 19-21 November 2009.
Working on sail training organizations by tall ships in world seas to help young people benefit from the sail training experience, Sail Training International holds meetings in one of the port cities to be visited in 2010. Picking a meeting location for this event as Istanbul the 2010 European Capital of Culture with participation of some 400 delegates from all over the world surely will help publicity of our city. Comprising a rich program and various sessions STI Annual meeting will be held in Sheraton Ataköy Hotel.
Additionally International Youth Forum will be held in Concordia training ship which will come to Istanbul by 19 November. The ship S/V Concordia which will visit our city was built in 1992, Class A with a length of 46.5 m. serving the students of West Island College International, Canada.
